Work With Me

I currently work as Health Visitor and I have done for many

years. My years of experience in this role has provided me

with a deep understanding of the needs and concerns of

Mums and their families. By continuing to work in this field

alongside creating M&TM, I am fortunate to have an insight

into the current struggles that modern Mothers face and

supportive techniques

to help overcome these.

Additionally, my own personal experience of Premature Ovarian

Insufficiency (POI) and raising three young children, has given

me a unique perspective and understanding. I have created

services that I would have really benefitted from.

Unfortunately there has been a huge gap in menopause services, leaving a vast amount of the menopausal population without a camp that feels right for them. Too young to be in the 'normal' menopause support groups and being a Mum means that the fertility support groups aimed at women with an Early Menopause is understandably, off-limits.

I am confident that by providing these services I can make a positive impact on the lives of Mums and families who face similar challenges. Whether it's joining the postnatal group, reaching out for one to one support, or joining the M&TM Online Community, I know that my expertise and empathy will be a valuable asset in helping others navigate this difficult transition, and improve their overall well-being. "I feel so grateful for your inspiration and determination to do this, it is truly right now the only good thing about having POI. Thank you so much for all that you are doing."

Menopause Awareness Session for Immersive Labs

"Thank you Emily for partnering with Immersive Labs for our education event on the Menopause. You were easy to work with, responsive, and collaborative in customizing your talk to the needs of our business. And you were lovely in the talk! I was impressed by how many employees were speaking up and sharing their stories, and this was thanks to the safe environment you created and I think because you were willing to share your own story to start. It made such a difference having a speaker who could speak first hand. Our employees walked away with more knowledge and empathy, which is exactly what we were looking for. "

"I recently had the pleasure of attending Emily's talk on menopause symptoms and the support available for women. Her presentation was not only informative but also empowering, shedding light on an often overlooked topic. Emily's expertise and passion for the subject matter were evident throughout the talk, making it a truly valuable experience.

Emily's talk was well-structured and covered a wide range of important aspects related to menopause. She began by providing a comprehensive overview of the physical and emotional symptoms that women may experience during this transitional phase of life. Her explanations were clear, concise, and easy to understand, making complex medical concepts accessible to all attendees."

"What set Emily's talk apart was her emphasis on the support and resources available to women going through menopause. She highlighted various strategies, both medical and non-medical, that can help alleviate symptoms and improve overall well-being. Emily's approach was inclusive, recognizing that every woman's experience with menopause is unique, and that different solutions may work for different individuals.

Emily's presentation was highly engaging, encouraging active participation from the audience. She incorporated interactive elements such as group discussions, Q&A sessions, and real-life anecdotes, which fostered a sense of community and allowed attendees to share their own experiences. This interactive approach created a safe and supportive environment for open dialogue, enabling attendees to ask questions and seek clarification on various topics."
